Life with a Stronghold Shepherd
The police were at my house last night checking on a break-in. They knew immediately when they saw Arlo that he was a Stronghold. [The Officer] said he got a male from you. We love our dog Arlo.
We picked up our puppy just before Christmas as a surprise gift for my children. Even after we came home, Penny was very responsive in helping coach us through the ins and outs of raising our puppy to the best of our ability. Our little puppy Maxie is very healthy, intelligent, and even tempered, and that's exactly why we went to Penny ... for the quality bloodline.
I know you have worked very hard at creating such great bloodlines at Stronghold and it shows in all your dogs. Ours is a great example of what you strive to accomplish...and I would just like to say thank you again for allowing me to have such a great companion.
Lily is great with our twin girls. She's like a big sister/second mother to them, watching over and playing with the girls. Thank you Penny for raising such strong and caring dogs!
I would give Penny 5 stars! She loves animals and asked us as many questions as we asked her. We wanted a smaller female than our previous dog. We now have a 75-pound female and couldn't be happier.
Protective, docile, courageous, loving, and forgiving is everything sought after for a family. We have been fortunate to have all those traits from the dogs we have from Penny and Will. Also from all the dogs our friends got from them.
We can't thank Stronghold German Shepherds enough for not only our 'first child' but the best family dog we could ask for. Our first dog we got 10 years ago ... and wanted to add another just like him. Their calm mannerisms, great temperament, and constant love have brought so much joy to our family.
Working with Will and Penny has helped us with every step in raising Elsa. They taught us how to train, socialize, and she is a well adjusted dog. Elsa has had two beautiful litters of puppies, and it was a pleasure to be a part of the process.
